Our Story
Elizabeth De Filippo-Jones has been leading food tours in Milan since 2017, earning hundreds of glowing reviews from private bookings and online platforms, with her tours and blog featured in Saveur magazine.
Based in Milan for over a decade and in the industry for more than 20 years, Elizabeth launched Fazool in 2025—bringing intimate, story-driven tours to Milan, Como, and Torino, plus a cheese-and-wine experience for serious flavor seekers. She holds a master’s degree in Food Anthropology from NYU, first came to Milan to work with the James Beard Foundation, and has written for Infatuation, Eater, Italy Segreta, and Cherry Bombe.
Her tours are shaped by years of storytelling, research, and deep relationships with Italy’s bakers, bartenders, cheesemongers, and winemakers—so every bite comes with a backstory. She also offers private tours, trip design, and bespoke travel planning and concierge services throughout Italy.
